Liesl holds a Master’s of Library and Information Science from the iSchool of the University of Washington and an MA in English from the University of Utah. She has worked in public libraries for the past 18 years and has been with Salt Lake County Library since 2011. In 2016, Liesl was awarded ULA Librarian of the Year for her work to bring financial literacy to refugees and new immigrants. She is an alumna of the PNLA Leadership Institute and ILEAD USA.
