Lorie Womack
I grew up in Northeastern Utah and fondly remember my first library experiences in Elementary School and using the bookmobile. I worked at the Gerald R. Sherratt Library while attending college at Southern Utah University. In 2009 I returned to college and earned a Masters in Library Science from the University of North Texas. I began my library career in public libraries as the Branch Manager of the Roosevelt Branch of the Duchesne County Library System. After 17 and 1/2 years in Roosevelt my husband, Robert, and I made a move to Washington, Utah where I currently serve as the Reference Librarian at the Washington Branch Library of the Washington County Library System.
Aside from work I enjoy traveling, crafts, spending time with my family, and serving in my church. It is an honor to be presenting at this year's ULA Conference. I look forward t making new friends and seeing friends I have know for many years.
